Why is insurance important?

If you were to die could your family pay for your funeral? Organize the financial situation? Pay for your debts and continue their current life style? I hope so! But most of us can’t afford it. This is why insurance companies exist. We need protection and the money to pay for it! If you were to be in a car accident with two other cars and it was determined that the accident was your fault. Think about the final result of all this! Imagine if someone is killed and your the responsible one.

Everyday many people lives change and many people do not have insurance. I’m writing this article because too many times I have seen friends of mine without insurance. They always say the same thing: it will never happen to me…Yeap! This is called irresponsibility! You know what, it happened…Only after the accident this friend became an insurance believer. It all boils down to one word: risk. The insurance company always calculates the risk of insuring people.

To a insurance company, you are a collection of risks. Your sex, your age, your marital status, driving record, type of car and place of residence all contribute to an insurer prediction. I think the final question should be…To be insured or not to be! The decision is always yours but the results are not. The problem is that some people do not have insurance and other insure everything even body parts. Where does it end?
