Van Fleet Insurance and Knowing How to Get the Best Van Fleet Insurance Deal

Introduction

I am sure you have heard all the sales pitches before as to why you need van fleet insurance. The purpose of this post is not to try to sell you some insurance that in the end turns out to be useless or not at all what you are actually looking for. Or worse to con you into buying something you don’t need.

Personal Experience

I have personal experience relating to fleet insurance as I have been looking after the vans in my company for the past 5 years, a total of +25 vans. As with any major expense, it is important that you review your insurance policy on a yearly basis to ensure you not only have the right cover and protection but also to ensure that you are not getting ripped off. Further, you actually want to make sure that the company you are paying for your fleet insurance also provides you with the quality service you expect when you need it the most. Especially after an accident, whether this was your fault or not. If it involves your van, then it involves your insurance and hence requires some work and input from them.

Over the past few years I have learned many things relating to van fleet insurance and how to not only get the best deal but also how to find the company that is going to give me the service I want at a price I can afford and I think is reasonable. Which is even more important the time of recession and all. So why would you pay more than you have to?

Don’t Waste Your Money

There isn’t any point in paying more money than you can afford for something of similar quality that you can get for a lower price. So it is important that you know what to look for, that you can analyse the data you get from each insurance provider. Most importantly, time is money. So you don’t want to be spending weeks on this with endless meetings with van fleet insurance sales rep and agents that lead to no conclusion of acceptable insurance policy.

Look around

The key to find a decent insurance that will deliver what you need and is affordable is to look around and find several different companies. You then compare them against each other and compare the plus points and minus points. You can also play them against each other. The more quotes you have, the more data you have and the more leverage you have in being able to force the perfect quote for you from the insurance company.
