Recently I reviewed an interesting video package called the Trading Pro System. It is a set of 48 downloadable videos which show you, step by step, how to make money from the stock market, primarily by trading iron condors and double calendar spreads.
The course promoters claim that it’s about “trading by the numbers” and includes some interesting insight into the options “greeks” and how an understanding of the way they work in harmony with each other can help you determine the timing of adjustments that may be necessary to your existing positions so that you don’t suffer financial loss. Each video ends with the same words which seem to be the catch cry of the system – “Trade With Confidence”.
This option trading system is divided up into a number of modules. First, the introductory ones, then an introduction to trade selection. Since the Trading Pro System is essentially about profiting from option theta (time) decay, you don’t want to pick stocks that may become unpredictably volatile after news or earnings reports, so they direct you to a number of popular index funds on the USA stock exchanges that are recommended for this strategy.
The Trading Pro System takes you methodically through the timing and analysis behind entering positions and then shows you how to monitor them and make adjustments if necessary.
The art of adjustments is crucial to this. Having implemented some of their strategies I can tell you that knowing when to adjust (not too early, not too late) can be, in the case of iron condors, the difference between maintaining your initial profit levels or sacrificing a portion of them to stay safe. I would like to see more specific information about this in the videos because I think it is lacking. But they do provide more detailed training on when to close out your positions, which is never at expiry date.
The Trading Pro System also comes with a number of “Bonus Files” which in many ways, I have found to be just as valuable as the main course itself. Their focus is on “wealth building” and includes a number of strategies which build upon your knowledge of “the greeks” in order to combine short term option and share buying so as to ‘scalp’ profits in a great day trading strategy. They throw a few Excel worksheets in also to help you with this.
Assuming your wealth grows from implementing their training, the Trading Pro System gives you additional strategies to use your increased capital base to implement which require more capital in order to be profitable.
Overall, I have found the price tag on this product well worth it. I have attended seminars that cost thousands of dollars which don’t provide the same level of in depth information that this course does.
